Rules of Entry for 2008: (Please note changes from 2007)

• The School of Photography Photographer of the Year 2008 Competition is open only to amateur photographers (Those who do not have photography as their main source of income).
• Employees of the School of Photography.com are not eligible.
• Each entry must be accompanied by a fully completed entry form (below) for Each photograph.
• An individual can enter a maximum of ONE photograph per theme.
• The entrants last name MUST be included in the image file name (i.e. smith_flower19.jpg and NOT flower19.jpg or DSC_0019.jpg).
• Email entries should be in jpeg file format at an image size LESS THAN 800 pixels on the longest side and UNDER 1.5Mb file size .

• DO NOT enter multiple competitions in one email. Enter each competition separately, e.g. 1 image in 1 email only.
• Postal entries can be color print, black and white print, 35mm and medium format transparencies (No glass mounted slides please) or a digital image on floppy disk or CD. Print sizes must not be larger than 12" x 8". NB: Postal entries will not be returned.

IMPORTANT: Failure to follow these rules = instant rejection of entry

• School of Photography.com reserves the right to publish any winning entry on this website and newsletter. The photographer retains copywrite. While every care will be taken, The School is not responsible for photographs that are lost or damaged.
• The judges decisions will be final. No correspondence may be entered into on the judges' decision. The prizes stated are final and no other cash equivalents will be awarded..
