David Butcher MSc, BSc (Hons), MIEEE, LRPS

Born in England, David started photography as a hobby in 1969 on a roll film camera. Davids interest continued to grow and he purchased his first 'real camera', a 35mm SLR, while still at school.

David studied photography with the Louis F Peek School of Photography. Later on he worked in a studio in London before moving to Ireland in 1981. David began shooting weddings and portraits and has a studio set up in co Kerry.

Joining the Royal Photographic Society who's members include many famous photographers such as Heather Angel, David Bailey, Lord Snowdon, Lord Lichfield and Juliet Margaret Cameron, David Hockney and many others. He was awarded the Licentiateship by the Society.

David now shoots mainly Model Portfolios, Weddings and Landscapes. He is the CEO of School of Photography.com and tutors on our Glamour Photography Course.
