Talking about printing reminded me about backups. I usually use a triple redundancy backup system for my family photos, which consists of them being written to a physical disk, then backed up to an external hard drive and finally stored on a cloud based backup server.

I store mine on my external hard drive or stick them on a USB. I also have some on my Drive account.

I always use this software http://www.cimaware.com/main/products/deletefixphoto.php that works excellent and is the most cheaper.

Flickr gives me a Terabyte of online cloud server space, plus you can share and import images to most other services (shutterfly, 500px). I’d also recommend keeping copies on a hard drive
