Yesterday I was reminded not often enough. I stumbled in from the street into a gallery that had some fantastic photographs. The theme was “Rural Villages”, some of the shots just left me flabbergasted, I really felt like I was peering through a window into an era that has long passed.

Not as often as I would like to. Unfortunately, there isn’t an awful lot of photography exhibitions where I’m at, and I’d need to do a lot of travelling. There are a lot of painting exhibitions though.

Like Marcel said, it’s rare to see photography exhibitions in my area, but every couple of months our local hall is rented for art exhibitions related to painting and tapestry etc… I visited one last year though, and found it quite interesting. Met some good photographers too.
